Founders and Survivors newsletter
Would you like to contribute to Chainletter, the Founders and Survivors Newsletter? The deadline for contributions to issue number 8 is 21 August 2011. If you are interested in contributing an article, please contact Janet McCalman on email@example.com.
This first issue of Chainletter for 2011 looks at the Vandemonians on the Victorian goldfields. It was inspired by the work of our first volunteer working party on the Tasmanians recorded in the Victoria Police Gazettes.
There are two files available for download: a larger file with a larger image resolution (higher quality images), and a smaller file which is more suitable if you have a slow internet connection.
Due to popular demand, we will have to limit attendance for Colette McAlpine's transcription workshop to 45. If you wish to attend, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have not already done so.
Details of the workshop are at http://foundersandsurvivors.org/event/transcribers-workshop-tasmanian-fe...
